Restoration Technician

One Way Property Restoration is looking to round out our restoration division with an experienced restoration technician. We provide 24-hour water damage restoration to the multi-family industry in the Seattle and surrounding areas. Our recent partnership with a national construction company has enabled us to grow and expand our team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform disaster response, emergency mitigation, water extraction, structural drying, and demolition, following IICRC standards.
• Set dehumidifiers, fans, air scrubbers, and other equipment at the worksite, ensuring proper setup and removal.
• Perform moisture mapping and loss documentation.
• Perform initial loss inspection.
• Remove drywall, carpets, insulation, etc., and perform general demolition after a loss.
• Act as a daily on-site contact for the customer, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered.
• Participate in our 24-hour on-call rotation, responding to emergency losses after hours and on weekends, as dictated by the on-call schedule.
• Drive company vehicles
• Other duties as assigned based on skill level growth
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comply with ONE WAY policies and procedures and legislative requirements.
• Vehicle safety and maintenance inspections: Operate a motor vehicle per ONE WAY's vehicle policy

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• IICRC certifications with 2 years of experience
• Satisfactory background check
• Willingness to Travel
• Able to be on-call
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Great Communication and Customer Service Skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and stress

Compensation: $27.00 per hour
