Kenny Kent Chevrolet Service Technician We are looking for an individual who is willing to work in a fast-paced, high-energy work environment. We need team players with a positive attitude. We are seeking an experienced service technician that performs vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. .

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Saturday based on business levels you may be required to work on a Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders from dispatcher and take to stall area.
• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair as authorized.
• Perform Multi Point Vehicle Inspection.
• Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
• Tag and save parts, turn in parts, if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
• Advise service advisor immediately if any additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed with the promised time.
• Document work performed.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure repair has addressed the customer complaint.
• Quality check work performed.
• Attend training classes.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Ensure that customers’ vehicles are kept clean.
• Administer safety and housekeeping policies and procedures
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, governing service repair work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
