We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Xray Technician who will also intake patient to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care, perform diagnostic imaging, and support medical operations across an orthopedics practice. Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs
- Prepare patients for examinations and diagnostic procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Perform X-ray imaging using GXMO (General X-ray Medical Officer) certification, adhering to safety protocols and radiation standards
- Support clinical operations by managing electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately and efficiently
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians within scope of practice
- Assist with inpatient and outpatient care, including triaging urgent cases in emergency medicine or trauma centers
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions, procedures performed, ICD coding, and other medical records
- Support hospital medicine units such as ICU or Geriatrics with clinical tasks as needed
Qualifications
Valid GXMO certification with proficiency in X-ray procedures and radiation safety standardsExperience working in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or outpatient clinics; Level I or Level II trauma center experience preferredStrong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medication administration protocolsPrior experience supporting inpatient units such as PICU or medical-surgical wards is advantageousFamiliarity with EHR systems (AthenaOne) for documentation and patient data managementAbility to perform vital signs assessment, intake procedures, and basic life support (BLS) certification requiredExcellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including geriatrics and internal medicine patientsJoin us to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives through compassionate care and advanced diagnostic support.
