Job Description
Come shape the future of mental health at Osmind! We're looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead our product engineering team and help build the next generation of products that will serve psychiatric providers and their patients.
About Osmind
Osmind is a technology, services, and data company focused exclusively on psychiatry. We serve a network of 800+ independent psychiatry practices across 49 states, helping clinics provide high-quality care, scale as businesses, and contribute to research with our purpose-built EHR, software solutions, and managed services.
Osmind is a San Francisco–based Series B funded Public Benefit Corporation backed by top investors including DFJ Growth, Future Ventures, General Catalyst, and Y Combinator. We're building something that moves the needle on the global mental health crisis.
We're at an exciting inflection point—we grew 100% last year and are currently launching a brand new platform that will define the future of Osmind. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the technical foundation of our next chapter.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager who is passionate about building exceptional software while leading a high-performing team. You'll manage a team of engineers delivering all product engineering work at Osmind, balancing hands-on technical contributions (~30-40% time) with people management and engineering excellence.
Reporting directly to the CTO, you'll be a key member of the engineering leadership team, helping shape our technical strategy and culture while working closely with product, design, and clinical teams to build scalable solutions that directly impact patient outcomes.
This role is based in San Francisco, working in the office twice a week to foster collaboration and connection, managing local and remote team members.
What You'll Do

$230,000-$245,000 plus equity, depending on experience. Osmind offers comprehensive benefits, including healthcare, dental, vision, generous family leave, FSA / DCFSA, mental health benefits, 401(k), and flexible PTO.
We are committed to building an equitable and inclusive environment for people of all backgrounds and experiences. We especially encourage members of traditionally underrepresented communities to apply, including women, people of color, LGBTQ+ people, veterans, and people with disabilities.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
