Job Description

As a Development intern you will work with a team of engineers and industry professionals in one the following area :

Hardware Development : This may include both mechanical or electrical HW and activities may include : modeling various aspects of drive / controller systems, lab testing, prototype evaluation, technology investigations, and small design projects. Areas of work may be control systems, motor electromagnetics, and digital / analog electronics, product design and development

You will have the opportunity to be a significant contributor, while getting comprehensive exposure to the business structure of Rockwell Automation and how we are helping our customers bring the Connected Enterprise to life. The Essentials - You Will Have :

Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited college or university

The Preferred - You Might Also Have :

Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0

Preference given to students met on campus, at a national recruiting event, through a Rockwell Automation-hosted event or a targeted recruiting campaign

Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering

Basic computer programming (C++, C#, Java, Python or JavaScript)

Experience with industrial automation environments including PLC or drives programming

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $22 / hour - $32 / hour. Our benefits for the US can be found . Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
