Front Desk Operator
The front desk operator is responsible for maintaining the front desk, providing quality customer service and ensuring the safety of Club members. Must be cooperative, friendly and able to create a harmonious environment.
1. Operate and manage the Clubhouse front desk
- Maintain the safety, security and appearance of the front desk
- Greet, monitor and track all visitors
- Supervise all equipment checkout and return
- Answer all phone calls
- Communicate and disperse information about upcoming events and activities to members and the public
- Maintain supplies for facility and front desk
- Recognize volunteers for their assistance daily
2. Maintain all membership and tracking systems of the Club
Work with unit directors to track membership for grant requirementsTrack program and membership data for reports as needed for program supportMaintain all Club documents and filing systemBe responsible for membership cardsBe responsible for following the proper protocols and procedures when taking payments and handling all currency3. Supervision :
Assist with the implementation and enforcement of safety policies / procedures regarding participant safety, risk management, and building security.Assist with the up-keep of Club maintenance and appearance.Handle minor youth conflict as it occurs in programs.4. Other Duties :
Abide by Club's policies, procedures, and federal and state lawsAttend board, staff and committee meetings, and other Club eventsWear uniform while working at or attending Club functionsInternal : Maintains close, daily contact with Club staff (professional and volunteer), Club members, and supervisor to receive / provide information, discuss issues, explain guidelines / instructions; instruct; and advise / counsel.
External : Maintains contact with external community groups, schools, members' parents and others to assist in resolving problems.
