(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Medical Technologist - General - NEW Laboratory Technologist|Medical Laboratory Scientist OR Medical Laboratory Technician opening at a nonprofit, community-based organization that provides blood and blood components to area hospitals. This facility also is known for its medical research to improve blood safety and patient care. This well-established organization is looking to hire a permanent and full time Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist! This position is responsible for performing routine testing of biological specimens and reviewing test results and quality assessment data. This position is also responsible for providing skilled technical support in the laboratory. For consideration, applicants must have his or her Medical Technologist(MT) OR Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) OR Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Certification in addition to a B.S. or A.S. degree. SBB or BB certification preferred. In addition, applicants should have experience in either an immunohematology reference laboratory or in a high volume blood bank laboratory.
