X-Ray Technologist - Urgent Care

Under the direct supervision of a Provider, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant, you will create a compassionate and welcoming environment for our patients while performing imaging duties with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support patient care duties as outlined in Nurse / Clinical Tech and Patient Care Specialist positions.
• Process and track x-ray orders promptly.
• Assist patients in achieving proper positioning for diagnostic imaging.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, especially regarding health information management, such as HIPAA.
• Review x-ray images for initial evaluation by healthcare providers.
• Label and document images accurately, ensuring all artifacts are addressed properly.
• Monitor x-ray equipment condition and assist in minor maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety protocols within the x-ray room to prevent contamination.
• Conduct patient triage, including recording vital signs and medical history.
• Provide essential support in clinical tasks, including but not limited to blood draws and injections, as applicable.
• Facilitate a welcoming environment for new employees and support their training process.
• Promote a positive atmosphere through effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to company standards.
