[job_card.job_description]Strong UX / UI design skills with a portfolio of data-related work Ability to simplify complex information into intuitive visual designs Familiarity with data concepts (metrics, models, pipelines, dashboards) Experience with design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.) Understanding data visualization principles Strong collaboration and communication skills Data literacy + statistical understanding Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, D3.js) Visual encoding principles Storytelling with data Ability to simplify complex metrics Basic Sql knowledge query writing skills Tableau skills for dashboard creations with some admin knowledge for managing / publishing dashboards
Role : Data Product Designer / Visualization analyst
Location : Fremont, CA (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user experiences for data products such as dashboards, analytics tools, and internal platforms
- Work closely with product managers, data engineers, and analysts to understand user needs and data capabilities
- Turn complex datasets into clear visualizations, interactions, and workflows
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and design specs for engineering teams
- Ensure consistency, clarity, and accessibility across all data interfaces
- Build dashboards, charts, and visual systems
- Apply data-viz best practices (color, scale, encoding)
- Create visual stories for execs or customers
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and accessibility of visuals
