Pathway Talent Partners is partnering with a growing organization to identify a skilled Senior Accountant . This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys owning core accounting processes, supporting close activities, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, supporting month-end and year-end close, and producing accurate financial reports. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to continuous process improvement as the organization grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger , ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Prepare and post journal entries , including accruals, prepaids, and adjustments
• Support and execute month-end and year-end close activities, meeting established deadlines
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports and account reconciliations; investigate and resolve variances
• Oversee and perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and accuracy
• Manage daily customer invoicing and monitor collections, including follow-up on outstanding balances
• Process expense reports and outgoing payments in accordance with company policies
• Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns and assist with annual business tax filings
• Support internal controls, audits, and compliance reporting requirements
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency within accounting operations
• Serve as a resource and mentor to junior accounting staff as needed
