Job Description
A confidential pediatric practice is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join a high-energy, team-based environment. This float position supports multiple clinic sites in Raleigh.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily clinical operations and assist providers with patient care.
- Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Perform routine assessments (height, weight, vision, hearing).
- Administer pediatric vaccinations and document per protocol.
- Collect lab samples (including venipuncture) and conduct in-house testing (strep, mono, RSV).
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA, and internal quality standards.
- Participate in team meetings and maintain professional communication with families and staff.
