Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator - Mustang Cat

Location : Houston, TX | Department : Corporate Accounting

At Mustang Cat , we've been supporting Southeast Texas for over 70 years as a trusted Caterpillar dealer. We're looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Corporate Accounting team . This role is key to ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient processing of vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and weekly check runs.

What You'll Do

  • Manage Mustang Cat's weekly accounts payable check run from start to finish.
  • Process vendor invoice payments and confirm proper coding and approval.
  • Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy.
  • Process employee expense reimbursements.
  • Set up new vendors and request W-9 forms.
  • Support the Accounting team with additional administrative duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Strong computer skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and reliable.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Business or accounting coursework.
  • Experience with :
  • SAP Concur (1-2 years)
  • AVIDXchange (1-2 years)
  • ApplicationXtender (1-2 years)
  • Unit4 Financials (1-2 years)
