Box Truck Driver

Delivery Driver

Responsible for delivering products from Central Bakery to store locations. Responsible for loading and unloading trucks, pick up of returns to be brought to Central Bakery. May have deliveries other than store routes. Maintain basic truck maintenance. Perform daily inspection of truck and report on logbook, per DOT regulations.

Starting Wage: $20.00

Schedule: Start Time: 2am or 2:30am. Flexible schedule with weekends and holidays as needed.

Education: High school Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Experience: Driving experience required. "For Hire" license is required.

Qualifications: Must be able to plan and organize own workday. Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Need to know how to operate a pallet jack, power and manual. Flexible work schedule, weekends and holidays are required. Ability to drive a large box truck. Must be able to pass a DOT physical. "For Hire" license is required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to push/pull large stacks of product. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. requires bending, stretching and good eye/hand coordination. Ability to work with deadlines and follow instructions, also able to remember routes and schedules.

Other Duties: Occasionally may be required to work in other areas. Assist with stock and maintenance at Central Bakery.

Environmental Conditions: Varies with change of seasons. Hot/Cold indoor/outdoor temperatures. Exposure to chemicals used with truck maintenance (oil, DEF fluid, other additives, cleaners).
