Minimum of three years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or a related area. Prior experience with governmental or organizational grant accounting is highly preferred. Advanced proficiency with computer systems; experience with governmental accounting software is a plus. Strong working knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis. Master’s Degree combined with at least one year of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree. Work Environment : Collaborative office setting with a focus on integrity and accuracy. Grants Accountant (Temporary to Permanent Position)
Are you detail-oriented with a passion for supporting impactful projects? We are seeking a diligent Grants Accountant to join our team on a temporary-to-hire basis. This in-person role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while developing your professional skills within a dynamic organization.
Location :
3840 Hulen St., Fort Worth, TX (Onsite)
Work Schedule : Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the accounting processes related to grants, ensuring compliance with funding agency guidelines and organizational policies.
- Prepare, review, and reconcile grant budgets, expenditures, and financial reports.
- Monitor grant expenditures to ensure they align with approved budgets and timelines.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary documentation and provide financial insights.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of grant reports and financial statements.
- Maintain detailed records of all grant-related transactions for audit purposes.
- Assist in the coordination of grant audits and respond to queries from funding agencies.
- Support continuous improvement of financial procedures related to grant management.
