As an Electronic Technician, you'll be the go-to person for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining Engine Control Modules in vehicles. Your expertise in electronics repair and diagnostic tools will be put to the test as you work to restore optimal performance and fuel economy.

Essential Requirements :

1?? Proficiency in electronics repair with strong soldering skills

2?? Experience using diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes

3?? Basic understanding of modern automotive engines

Preferred Qualifications :

  • ?? Experience with microprocessors and diagnostic software
  • ?? Strong problem-solving abilities

    Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree

    Responsibilities

    An electronic / automotive Technician diagnoses, repairs, and programs automotive engine control modules (ECMs / ECUs), using schematics, bench testing, and on-vehicle diagnostics to restore module functionality and resolve driveability and communication faults

  • Troubleshooting and Diagnosis : Identify and diagnose malfunctions in ECMs using diagnostic tools.
  • Repair and Maintenance : Perform component-level repairs such as BGA soldering.
  • Programming and Calibration : Install software updates and program microprocessors.
  • Testing and Verification : Conduct tests to verify correct functionality and engine performance.
  • Record Keeping : Maintain detailed logs of repairs and parts used.
