Security Officer - Telecom Tower Patrol

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and professional communication help to create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 45 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 45 PM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 45 PM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client site instructions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter within a technology-focused location to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and information as needed, while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Work collaboratively with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related matters and / or emergencies as they arise.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR and / or first aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
