Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests warmly and friendly, offering assistance, including escorting guests to their rooms, and helping with luggage.
- Informing guests of all the property amenities, hours of operation and local areas of interest and activities.
- Reviewing the room features to the guest (use of the room key, hydration stations, in-room safe and other services).
- Responds to all guest requests appropriately and remains alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and fellow associates always.
- Assisting with arrival of vehicles on the porte cochere and providing information on parking information and retrieval of vehicle.
- Responsible for doorperson coverage as needed.
- Maintain front porte-cochere and lobby in a clean and tidy manner.
- Assist with luggage storage, retrieval, and departure from the room in a timely manner.
- Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.
- Communicate any needs or concerns within the hotel with the appropriate departments.
- Delivery of guest requests and final folios to the rooms.
- Ample knowledge of property layout, activities, outlets, group meetings and hours of operation.
- Follow all Loss Prevention procedures regarding guest property, safety, and security. Report any concerns to department managers or loss prevention in a timely manner.
- Drives automobile to parking space.
- Takes numbered tag from customer, locates automobile, and surrenders it to customer.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have previous customer service experience; hotel experience is preferred.
- Follow all company policies, procedures and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
- Excellent customer service, anticipation of guest needs and problem-solving skills are required.
- Must have strong communication, presentation, training, and organizational skills.
- Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.
- Lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Move, push, and pull objects weighing up to 200 lbs. without assistance.
- Stand, walk or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Maintains excellent driving record.
- Ability to drive a manual shift vehicle.
- This position is a full-time, on-site position with no work from home flexibility.
