What You'll Be Doing: The purpose of the Coating Operator is to: 1) Mask, assemble, and coat electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems per customer specifications; 2) Perform cleaning operations according to manufacturing schedules; 3) Provide and enter information pertinent to the coating process into the production documentation; and, 4) Follow company policy and procedure to ensure a safe, effective workplace. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Follow work order, production drawing and/or specification, work instruction, and/or verbal instruction. Prepares and implements masking requirements on all product assemblies and components when applicable. Performs mechanical assemblies on boards per customer requirements. Prepare and spray coat operations on applicable assemblies. Maintains cleaning operations and cleanliness testing as required by PUI procedures. Follows daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning maintenance schedules. Performs all procedures regarding coating recipes to specification. Conducts chemical inspections regularly for acceptance. Prep all assemblies to customer specs. And/or PUI specifications. Rework / repair defective units to conform to customer and/or PUI specifications. Enter information on production documentation including records, logs, work orders, time/quantity, and other documentation completely, accurately, and correctly. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
