Data Analyst

How  you’ll  make an impact :

As a Data Analyst on the Data Science team, you will have the opportunity to work with many of the nation’s leading healthcare providers in utilizing their financial, operational, and clinical data to drive their mission of providing world-class care while improving financial health.  Your work will bring new insights to individual clients, client collaboratives and the industry.  Responsibilities include :

• Applying data mining techniques and statistical analysis to healthcare and financial data across our  client  base
• Extracting, cleansing, and  validating  the data used for analyses
• Developing and  maintaining  automated processes and workflows to improve efficiency and consistency with handling data
• Extending company’s data with third party sources of information when needed
• Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
• Working within the data science team to enhance the  StrataSphere  products
• Providing quality assurance on  StrataSphere  products and working with data science team to correct errors
• Meeting with clients and other Strata team members to answer their questions about the data or analytics
• Conducting ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clean,  clear  and actionable manner
• Creating analytics in Tableau and Excel and sharing with clients and answering questions
• Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance
• Partnering with Data Scientists to  assist  in advanced modeling

What  we’re  looking for :

Estimated Salary Range : $ 70,000 - 85,000

Actual salary will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skill set and level of experience. This salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Strata also provides discretionary variable pay programs based on role. The preferred location for this role is in Chicago, IL or St. Louis, MO. We value our people spending time together and have campuses hosting in-person events located in both cities. We are truly a hybrid environment with all team members experiencing the flexibility to work from home.
