National Sales Manager
Symbiotic Services is seeking an experienced and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead and optimize sales efforts nationwide. This role reports to the Executive Vice President of Sales and is pivotal in developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth, enhance market share, and strengthen the company's presence in high-end and mainstream furniture sectors. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, and proven success in managing a national sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Set clear sales goals and objectives for each Brand Ambassador by territory, aligning with overall company objectives.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including volume and market share penetration.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales and promotional activities.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, trade showrooms, and retail partners nationwide.
- Resolve customer issues and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Manage the point of sales program through brand ambassadors, including developing sales and training programs.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Brand Ambassadors nationwide.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent performance and professional development.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set individual targets, and provide training opportunities.
- Foster a high-performance culture with clear accountability and continuous improvement.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.
- Expertise in strategic planning, marketing, and business development.
- Ability to develop and implement sales training programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation abilities.
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics, CRM systems, and sales forecasting.
- Ability to travel frequently for customer meetings and trade shows.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing management within the furniture or consumer goods industry.
- 5+ years of people management experience leading a national sales team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
