Front Desk Agent

About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Laquinta Inn and Suites McKinney as a Front Desk Agent! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival.
• Check-in and check-out guests efficiently while ensuring accuracy in billing.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
• Process reservations and manage room assignments using hotel software.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Promote hotel services and upsell rooms and packages to enhance guest experience
  Records pertinent guest information and issues in log book for opening managers review
  Keeps communal areas and lobby clean
  Assists breakfast hosts in replenishing food or supplies and cleaning as directed
  Follows company policies and procedures
  Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
  May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  Will be required to work in a fast-paced environment
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training is a plus.
• Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and basic computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
