We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Director to lead clinical operations in our Long-Term Care facility. This role ensures high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and medical team leadership.

Position Summary :

Job Title : Medical Director-LTC

Location : Springfield, MA 01199

Duration : 48 Weeks’ Contract (Possible Extension)

Schedule : M-F with EOW

Shift : Days (8x5)

Pay Range : $3200-$4000 / Gross Weekly

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for all resident care
  • Supervise and support medical staff and interdisciplinary teams
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and protocols
  • Lead quality improvement and infection control initiatives
  • Communicate with families, staff, and external care providers

Requirements :

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with valid license to practice in MA
  • Board certified in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, or related specialty
  • Minimum 5 years' clinical experience in LTC, geriatrics, or similar setting
  • Proven leadership and administrative experience in healthcare
  • Strong understanding of long-term care regulations and best practices
