Post Processing Technician 1

We're looking for a full-time, temporary to hire, Post Processing Technician I to join our team in the Processing Department, Monday - Friday from 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM. This role will begin as a 30-day temporary assignment, with the possibility of transition to regular employment based on performance, attendance, and business needs. This position plays a vital role in supporting the post-processing process, ensuring compliance, and maintaining product quality from start to finish. As a Post Processing Technician I , you will be responsible for performing routine tasks across all processing areas, working under the guidance of the Processing Supervisor and Post Processing Technician III. Your responsibilities will include conducting green waste disposal processes, trimming batches by hand and machine, and assisting with the dry and cure processes. You'll play a role in maintaining quality control measures, ensuring batches meet product standards, and supporting inventory management by keeping accurate records. In addition, you will be expected to keep your workspaces and machinery clean, sanitized, and organized to maintain operational efficiency.

Previous experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to focus on sensitive and complex tasks. Strong verbal and written communication skills, flexibility, and adaptability are essential to succeed in this role. You must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and perform manual tasks requiring fine motor skills. Safety is a priority, and you will be required to maintain balance while using ladders or performing tasks such as stooping, kneeling, or reaching.
