Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and executing repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal production downtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with components such as motors, gauges, pumps, conveyor systems, material handling equipment, and some automated equipment like PLCS and VFDs.
• Execute necessary repairs to maintain equipment performance and reduce production downtime.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of maintenance mechanic experience
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing various mechanical components.
• Experience with preventive maintenance practices.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bakersfield, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
