Front Desk Attendant

Camp Bow Wow Houston Hobby is seeking a friendly, energetic, and organized Front Desk Manager to be the welcoming face of our facility. As the first point of contact for clients and their pets, you play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for dogs and their owners. You will manage administrative duties, answer client inquiries, schedule appointments, and assist with check-ins and check-outs of our canine campers. A love for animals and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Handle phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries regarding daycare, boarding, grooming, and training services.
• Manage appointment scheduling, reservations, and cancellations.
• Check pets in and out, ensuring all necessary paperwork and vaccinations are up to date.
• Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
• Provide information about Camp Bow Wows policies, services, and pricing.
• Monitor and update client accounts in the company database.
• Assist with the care and supervision of dogs in the reception area when needed.
• Communicate effectively with staff and management to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
• Resolve client concerns and escalate issues to management as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role is preferred.
• Sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with computers and office software (Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
• A passion for animals and ability to interact comfortably with dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, sit, and move around for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in an environment with dogs.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
