The Backend Engineer blends technical expertise, insatiable curiosity, and an analytical mindset. He / She is comfortable working independently, as well as with a team in the design and development of mission-critical websites, applications, and layers of infrastructure. The Backend Engineer communicates regularly with stakeholders, project managers, quality assurance teams, and other developers regarding progress on long-term technology roadmap. He / She creates and maintains workflows with teams to provide visibility and to ensure workload balance for consistent visual designs. The Backend Engineer develops and oversees testing schedules, addresses various browsers and devices to ensure that content is displayed as intended. He / She produces quality code and raises the bar for team performance and speed.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead designing, developing, and maintaining scalable systems with focus on backend systems
• Provide technical guidance frontend team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure successful project delivery
• Architect and implement solutions that align with business goals
• Actively participate in peer reviews for native mobile apps
• Code review, troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into development processes

Job Qualifications
