• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for examination as necessary.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all procedures, mentor new staff or trainees, and help uphold laboratory quality assurance standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Required

• A bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health discipline, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Necessary Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be achieved within one year of employment.
• Ability to maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
