GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Coordinator, Logistics (Lab) collects, organizes, monitors and distributes information related to the logistical support of laboratory operational requirements. Responsible for coordinating the reliable transport of patient specimen shipments and other shipments as required. Manages and resolves logistical issues of a routine nature and maintains liaison relationship with all shipping vendors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitors all courier and carrier daily activities to include all vendor pick up schedule adherence and all vendor delivery to the lab

Assists clinics with all logistics related issues including pick-ups, courier changes, etc.

Provides logistical coordination for Sequestering due to unexpected clinical outcomes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

0-2 years experience in logistics

Must have high school diploma or equivalent

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, TRAINING, OR QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to work a varied schedule.

Maintains confidentiality of all company and patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
