[job_card.job_description]Transmit and receive messages through telephone, facsimile, and switchboard Make, confirm, cancel, and change guest reservations Keep records of room availability and guest’s accounts Maintain wake-up call service Make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations for guests Maintain clean and neat work and storage space Act as MOD during shift as assigned Attend monthly department meetings Actively seeks out other tasks when current work is complete Complete projects as determined by Front Office Supervisor, Ops Manager and / or GM Participate in ongoing education and training Other duties as assigned Customer Service : Displays a professional sense of urgency when communicating and interacting with guests, coworkers, and the public in a way that exceeds the guest’s wants and needs. Identifies opportunities to improve and deliver additional value to guest’s experience by presenting creative solutions and innovative ideas. Communication : Actively listens to guests, coworkers, and the public (viewing the situation from the guest’s perspective) and works together to solve the problem through effective communication Problem Solving : Ability to recognize and define problems; analyze relevant information; encourage alternative solutions and plans to resolve situations; seeks additional assistance when needed. Quality : Work “product or service” is free of errors and exceeds customer expectations. Education or Experience - High school diploma or GED equivalent; three to six months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills- Must have developed language skills to the point to be able to : read and understand instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence with proper format, punctuation, spelling and grammar, using all parts of speech. Speak with poise, professionalism and confidence. Mathematical Skills - Requires mathematical development sufficient to be able to : add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units or measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute ratio, rate, and percent. Possesses sharp ability for attention to detail (able to quickly identify variances in standards), working efficiently, and flexibly. Ability to multi-task and be highly organized while Reasoning Ability - Must have developed reasoning skills to be able to : solve practical problems and deal with variety of situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check Requires walking, sitting, and standing to a significant degree, reaching, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, handling, talking, hearing, and seeing Lifting up to 25 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and / or carrying or transporting of objects weighing up to 10 lbs. Inside environmental conditions protected from weather conditions. Potential exposure to paint, solvents, cleaning chemicals, and / or fumes

The Double Tree is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team a few nights a week as a Night Auditor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the overnight operations of our hotel, including balancing accounts, processing transactions, and ensuring guest satisfaction. If you’re a night owl with a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, we want you on our team!
Job Summary
The Night Auditor is responsible for performing in a pleasant, professional and efficient manner, a combination of duties not limited to, performing the hotel’s nightly audit, answering telephones and assisting with guest services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide professional and courteous guest service at all times
- Answer telephone calls courteously and efficiently
- Register and assign room(s) to guests
- Answer inquiries regarding hotel services, registration of guests, shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions
- Compute bills, receive payments and make change for guests
- Prepare accurate Daily Report
- Post ancillary charges to guest folios (food, liquor, room, telephone)
- Promote any current hotel and franchise marketing programs
- Communicate with the next shift and informs ops manager / gm / maintenance about any overnight incidents
- Ability to work well with a diverse group of people
