A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Video Algorithm Systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design and prototype encoding algorithms and software workflows to enhance video quality and reduce bandwidth requirements
Analyze current workflows and codec implementations to identify areas for improvement in quality and speed
Conduct research on next-generation image and video coding and collaborate with academic research groups
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in multimedia software development
BS in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering or equivalent; MS or PhD is a plus
Proficiency in C++ or Java and object-oriented programming
Strong background in image and signal processing, including algorithm design and implementation
Experience with large-scale distributed systems and cloud-computing
