Role : ETL Developer

Location : Raleigh, NC

Duration : 8-month contract (with possible extensions)

Job Description

IRG Clients is seeking an experienced ETL Developer to design and build data migration pipelines and an archive system . The ideal candidate will have strong experience with InterSystems Cache, Java, SQL, and Linux / UNIX environments and be able to work independently while collaborating with multiple technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data migration and archival solutions
  • Create ETL scripts using InterSystems Cache and relational databases
  • Provide technical support for applications and infrastructure
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues independently
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams
  • Provide technical input and status updates to the IT Manager

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience with InterSystems Cache Database and ETL processes
  • Strong experience with Java and SQL
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Knowledge of relational databases
  • Experience with WebSphere Application Server
  • Strong understanding of SDLC processes
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and self-starter mindset

    • Preferred / Desired Skills

  • Experience with Web Services (HTML, HTTP, XML, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI)
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Experience with FTP / SFTP / FTPS
  • Strong understanding of technical architecture and infrastructure collaboration
