Description - What You Will Be Responsible For

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical lab analyses-including but not limited to chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols.
• Evaluate results meticulously for accuracy, address any discrepancies, and perform preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples as needed for testing.
• Meticulously document all procedures, assist in training newcomers, and ensure adherence to lab quality standards.
• Maintain a sanitized, safe workspace and comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Licenses and Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within the first year of employment.
• Ensure that certification remains current throughout the duration of your employment.
