Director of Finance Full-Service Hotel

Location : Greater Chicago Area

Reports To : Managing Director

Team Size : 34 Accounting / Finance Staff

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead the financial operations of a full-service hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality accounting and a proven ability to manage a team in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all financial operations including budgeting forecasting and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel brand standards and local regulations.
  • Manage and mentor a team of 34 accounting / finance professionals.
  • Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum 5 years in hotel accounting preferably in a full-service environment.
  • Systems : Familiarity with M3 and / or ProfitSword is highly preferred.
  • Education : 4-year college degree in Accounting Finance or related field (ideal).
  • Certification : CHAE preferred but not required.
  • Brand Experience : Background with major brands such as Westin Marriott Starwood Hyatt or similar.
  • Strong analytical leadership and communication skills.

    • Location Requirement : Candidates should reside in or near the Greater Chicago Area .

    Compensation :

  • $00base salary
  • Up to 35% target bonus
  • Excellent benefits 401k PTO etc.
  • Relocation available
