HVAC Controls Electrician / Installer

SUMMARY :

ACES is offering immediate full-time positions for self-motivated and experienced electricians to join our growing installation team.

This role involves all aspects of the installation process for building automation systems.

POSITION TYPE : Full-Time, overtime may be required based on project needs

REPORTS TO : BAS Installation Manager

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING :

• Read jobsite drawings (Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) to understand proper installation areas and requirements
• Install and terminate low voltage cable
• Bend and install conduit consisting of EMT, Ridgid, and PVC
• Install panels to walls and HVAC equipment
• Install field devices such as sensors, thermostats, and damper actuators for HVAC equipment
• Install DDC controllers in panels
• Read ACES generated wiring drawings to understand how to wire equipment
• Willingness to learn and grow in the organization and support the team.
• Utilize various hand tools and equipment and maintain tools and equipment for proper functionality.
• Some travel with occasional overnight stays. (10%)
• Flexibility to work outside normal work hours / weekends, as required.
• Other duties as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

This position requires working at construction sites, in mechanical / equipment rooms and possible extreme weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and heavy equipment. The employee may be exposed to wet and / or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock (high voltage); and vibration. The noise level in the work environment varies.
