Overview
The Business Development Director is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across Technology Services, including project-based engagements and staffing-led solutions. This role focuses on building senior-level client relationships, expanding strategic accounts, and positioning the company as a trusted technology partner.
Possess a strong track record in enterprise sales, consultative selling, and solution-led growth within IT services, cybersecurity, cloud, or digital transformation domains.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Growth
- Own and execute business development strategy to achieve annual revenue and growth targets
- Identify and pursue new logo acquisition and account expansion opportunities
- Drive deals across project delivery, managed services, and staffing-based engagements
Client & Market Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with C-level, VP, and Director-level stakeholders
- Understand client business challenges and map them to technology solutions
- Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and partner forums
Sales Execution
- Lead the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and closure
- Collaborate with delivery, pre-sales, and leadership teams to shape winning solutions
- Develop pricing, statements of work (SOWs), and commercial models aligned with client needs
Strategic Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing to drive pipeline through campaigns and partnerships
- Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure smooth handoff and customer satisfaction
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to leadership for service and capability expansion
Governance & Reporting
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM updates
- Report regularly on sales performance, deal risks, and growth opportunities
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in business development or enterprise sales within Technology Services
- Proven success selling IT services, cybersecurity, cloud, digital, or staffing solutions
- Strong experience closing mid-market to enterprise-level deals
- Ability to sell both project-based engagements and staffing/resource-led models
- Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of technology delivery models and client buying processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network within enterprise or regulated industries
- Experience working with global delivery or offshore/onshore models
- Background in cybersecurity, cloud platforms, or digital transformation services
