Job Details : \n

  • Work day / evening shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM

    • \n

  • 5 or 8 hour shifts available with 40-hour work weeks

    • \n

  • Associate degree in radiation therapy technology required

    • \n

  • ARRT-RTT certification required

    • \n

  • Washington State Certification RT required

    • \n

  • Radiation oncology certificate required

    • \n

  • Active BLS certification required and must be maintained

    • \n

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Radiation Therapy Technologist (RTT) required

    • \n

  • Perform various radiotherapy treatments and simulations with minimal supervision

    • \n

  • Safely provide correct radiotherapy treatment to patients following radiation protection principles

    • \n

  • Review isodose plans and treatment prescriptions prior to implementation

    • \n

  • Verify treatment plans are consistent with prescriptions and can be accurately implemented

    • \n

  • Operate medical equipment used for radiotherapy treatments

    • \n

  • Administer prescribed radiation doses to specific body parts as planned by radiation oncologist

    • \n

  • Utilize imaging technologies for simulation, treatment planning and delivery including weekly ports, CBCT, kVp and MV imaging, and IGRT

    • \n

  • Maintain accurate records of patient treatment regimens including radiation dosages, equipment settings and patient reactions

    • \n

  • Adhere to facility policies and unit standards
