Support financial reporting and analysis for management. Assist with audit preparation and provide required documentation. About This Team and Role
Verra Mobility is hiring an Associate Accountant. This position will report to the Assistant Controller and is responsible for managing full-cycle accounts payable process maintaining accurate financial records supporting month-end close activities with the business unit.
What Youll Do
Accounts Payable
Process and verify all vendor invoices ensuring proper coding approval and documentation.
- Prepare and execute weekly and bi-weekly payment runs (ACH check wire etc.).
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Review and transact employee T&E expense ensuring proper coding and documentation.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice or payment inquiries.
- Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in payables operations.
- Take part in any additional accounting finance or cross-departmental projects as required.
General Accounting
Prepare and post journal entries accruals and adjustments.
