2nd Shift : Shipping And Receiving Clerk

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk position involves managing incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining organized inventory records. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and physical stamina for tasks like lifting heavy items and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities :

• Accept and unload incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage or discrepancies, and verify contents against purchase orders.
• Store goods in designated areas, update inventory records, perform cycle counts, and maintain an organized warehouse.
• Pick and pack orders based on pick tickets, prepare outgoing shipments, assemble crates, and ensure all items are accurately accounted for.
• Prepare all necessary paperwork, including invoices, bills of lading, and shipping labels, and maintain accurate records of all shipments.
• Arrange for transportation of outgoing goods, coordinate with carriers, and track shipment status to ensure timely delivery.
• Adhere to safety procedures, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and stay informed about shipping regulations.
• Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and load materials.
