Electrical Designer

We've teamed up with a leading natural resources and industrial company and they're seeking a Lead Electrical Designer to oversee the electrical design team and support all phases of engineering projects. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining CAD standards and best practices, ensuring high-quality, consistent design deliverables, and driving continuous improvement in design processes. Additionally, the position coordinates design resources and works closely with engineering leaders and cross-functional teams to support project schedules, budgets, and technical objectives.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Drafting & Design OR Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of engineering design experience, including leadership responsibilities OR
• High School Diploma or GED and 9 years of related engineering design experience including managing design professionals
• Strong expertise in CAD tools and standards development
• Experience leading transitions to new design software
• Knowledge of industry standards (ISO, ANSI, ASME, etc.)
• Proven leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Experience with complex design projects and plant layouts.
