[job_card.job_description]Salary : $44,768.00 per person (approximately $168,000 total compensation per couple, including free housing, meals while on duty, and utilities). Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, health savings, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability options, and retirement savings. Relocation assistance and paid training provided. Paid time off offered at designated times throughout the year. Experience working or volunteering with youth is preferred. This role is designed for couples legally married for at least two years. Both spouses must be at least 27 years old. No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. Commitment to maintaining a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty. Pet policy : only fish and one dog of approved breeds are allowed. Valid U.S. driver's license required; must become certified to drive student home vans. Must be comfortable leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited). A high school diploma or GED is required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students.

MHS is seeking married couples to join our team as Full-time Flex Houseparents. This unique and fulfilling opportunity allows couples to live in on-campus student homes, providing essential care, guidance, and support to approximately 813 students. As Flex Houseparents, you'll play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing, family-like atmosphere that promotes students’ academic, emotional, and social growth, enabling them to reach their fullest potential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
- Manage household routines and student schedules effectively.
- Administer medications and ensure overall student wellness.
- Transport students to activities and actively participate in developmental and recreational programs.
- Lead daily devotionals and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
- Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
Initially, Flex Houseparents will support various student homes, working nine consecutive days followed by three days off. During the weekdays, houseparents will have unscheduled time while students are in school. Eventually, Flex Houseparents transition into a Placed Houseparent role, where they will reside and work closely with the same group of students.
