Wieland is hiring a Tinning Operator . The Tinning Operator will be responsible for all tasks that support the production of material in our hot tin dip facility. This includes the processing, handling, and packaging of material as well as tasks associated with the operation of tinning line machines as determined by the leadership. This role will begin in Montogomery, IL then move to Carol Stream, IL in the Summer and will be fully on-site.

Hourly Pay Range : $23.00 / hr to $25.00 / hr

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM (potential to move to 2nd shift after one year - Monday - Friday, 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM)

Pay Schedule : Weekly

Responsibilities

Tinning Operator Responsibilities :

Responsible for performing all tasks safely and identifying hazards in the production environment.

• Responsible for being familiar with and adhering to all Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
• Responsible to wear proper PPE at all times as it relates to the JSA and company policy.
• Responsible for upholding any and all standards set forth by the management team.
• Responsible for the machine specific or situational duties as assigned by management.
• Responsible for processing assigned material safely and productively and in accordance with Quality Assurance standards as well as posted process controls and limits.
• Responsible for communicating with team members to facilitate the processing of assigned material.
