Lead the design and implementation of mission-critical automation systems for cutting-edge industries like medical devices, renewable energy, and logistics. As a technical and team leader, you will set engineering standards and ensure the flawless delivery of complex, turn-key automation solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of engineering design standards and conceptualize / review designs for complex automated stations and systems.
• Manage multiple programs to ensure key milestones are met and customers receive right-first-time, turn-key solutions.
• Oversee customer scope of work, ensuring all contractual terms and conditions are fulfilled and managing Engineering Change Orders.
• Lead internal and external design reviews, customer buy-offs, and root cause analysis for field issues.
• Manage, mentor, and schedule the day-to-day activities of a team of 8-10 mechanical engineers.
• Communicate effectively with employees, colleagues, and customers, translating technical concepts and project status clearly.
• Analyze as-built tool designs, prepare update plans, and apply a continuous improvement mindset to all engineering processes.

What You Bring to the Role

BS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a directly related field.

15+ years of related experience, including multiple projects in machine design and industrial automation.

5+ years of mechanical 3D solid modeling experience with proficiency in SolidWorks.

Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of mechanical engineers.

Preferred : Strong background in capital equipment manufacturing for industries such as medical device or life sciences.

Preferred : Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read mechanical / electrical controls drawings and understand machining practices.

Preferred : Outstanding organizational, communication, and customer-facing skills with computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
