Location: Salt Lake City Area | Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:45 am – 4:15 pm| Type: Full-Time | FLSA: Exempt

What You'll Do

As a Master Teacher, you'll be a leader, mentor, and classroom champion. You will:

• Supervise and support assigned staff
• Collaborate with your classroom team to deliver high-quality educational services
• Provide nurturing, individualized care to a designated group of children
• Implement effective, research-based teaching strategies
• Foster a safe, engaging, and joyful learning environment
• Partner with families to support each child's growth and development

Your leadership will shape classroom culture and create meaningful, lasting impact for the families we serve.

Are You the Master Teacher We're Looking For?

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

• A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field with an emphasis on essential early childhood topics
• Experience teaching preschool-aged children
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• CPR/First Aid certification (completed within 90 days of hire)
• Food Handler Permit (completed within 60 days of hire)
• Verification of degree/transcripts

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The Master Teacher supervises the classroom team and acts as a role model to support and enhance the effectiveness of new teaching staff.

Physical Requirements

This role is active and hands-on in a dynamic early childhood environment. Candidates must be able to meet the following physical requirements:

• Occasionally: Run, climb, and crawl
• Frequently: Kneel, bend, twist, squat, reach, sit, and push/pull
• Continuously: Stand and walk throughout the day
• Lifting/Carrying: Safely lift and carry up to 49 pounds

These physical activities are essential for effectively supporting and engaging young children in a safe and responsive classroom setting.
