What you'll do

As a Residential Sales and Design Associate at Home Carpet One, you'll be instrumental in guiding our customers through their flooring journey, ensuring a seamless and fulfilling experience from the moment you first speak with them to when their installation is complete. In this role, you will :

  • Conduct personalized flooring consultations : Meet with customers in our showroom or within the community to understand their design needs and preferences. Offer tailored recommendations that match their vision
  • Leverage sales technology for success : Utilize our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track customer interactions, follow-ups, and sales progress
  • Foster lasting customer relationships : Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service that encourages repeat business and referrals
  • Achieve flooring sales targets : Strive to meet or exceed sales targets through effective customer engagement, design advice, closing sales, and supporting your fellow sales associates
  • Collaborate across teams : Work closely with the customer care, finance, and installation teams to ensure a smooth and coordinated effort from the selection process to the final installation, enhancing customer satisfaction
  • Stay informed on flooring and design trends : Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, product offerings, and installation techniques to offer informed and expert advice to customers
  • Participate in continuous sales learning : Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your product knowledge, sales techniques, and design expertise

    • The pay range for this role is :

    50,000 - 150,000 USD per year(Chicago)
