Clinical Supervisor

Position Summary

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for assisting with planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the administrative operations and clinical practice activities on a twenty-four-hour basis; provides patient care services that are coordinated to provide a seamless, integrated system of care that is high value, cost-effective and customer focused.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists department manager in operational activities of unit
• Responsible for ensuring the bedside nursing performance according to unit policy
• Recognizes changes in patient condition and responds appropriately.
• Reprioritizes and delegates other responsibilities during emergency situations.
• Remains calm and objective during emergencies; functions calmly and efficiently in periods of high activity.
• Facilitates transfer of care to a higher level of care facility.
• Keeps family / significant others informed of patient's status.

Minimum Requirements

Current NJ RN License

BSN

3-5 years Maternal Child Health experience

Previous management experience

External Fetal Monitoring knowledge

Labor and Delivery skillset

ACLS, NRP, and IV certifications

Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop employees

Intermediate computer skills, excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods with the ability to lift, push and pull

Preferred :

MSN

Salary Range - $41.01 - $52.58 hourly (Based on experience)
