Certified Surgical Technologist - Evenings

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team for evening shifts. The ideal candidate will possess experience in cardiac surgery, with exposure to orthopedic or transplant procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures using laser surgery equipment and various surgical hand tools.
• Demonstrate competency in the use of operating microscopes and video equipment.
• Manage electrosurgical units for effective hemostasis.
• Handle multiple instrument types associated with various surgical sections.
• Support surgical procedures such as Total Joint arthroplasty and spinal rodding.
• Utilize laparoscopic equipment and stents as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA.
• BLS Certification required.
• Cardiac experience is a must; orthopedic or transplant experience preferred.

Schedule

This position offers 8-hour evening shifts with guaranteed hours of 37.5 hours per week. There are no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements.
