Oakland Unified School District is looking for creative, enthusiastic, resourceful, resilient and equity-minded Teacher-Librarians to join our team.

We interview centrally with our library staff and then look for the best fit of school sites.

We seek Teacher Librarians with emergency services credential and / or credentialed Teacher Librarians to collaborate with and support students and staff through library programming, reading promotion, effective and empowering use of social and other media, critical thinking and reading, information and digital literacy, development of school and district wide resources, and development and growth of the Library Learning Commons.
