Process Engineering Technician

OVERVIEW :

Innovative medical device manufacturer in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Process Engineering Technician, Reagent Formulations to join their team of motivated individuals.

SUMMARY :

Under the direction of the MTO Manager and Project lead, the Process Engineering Technician will provide support for :

Perform in-process data collection such as pH, conductivity, density etc.,

Perform simple wet chemistry formulations under senior staff supervision.

Process characterization of the reagent formulation processes. Responsibilities

Support characterization of wet chemistry processes and scale up manufacturing

Support creation of documentation such as MWI and MF.

Support and / or develop methods to measure performance of process.

Support executing design of experiments under senior staff supervision.

Support Measurement System Analysis (MSA) / Gage R&R to understand and address measurement system sources of variability.

Support optimization and control of critical process parameter settings.

Support onboarding and qualification of new Equipment.

Draft and / or modify equipment supporting documentation such as EAN, ES, EI, PM, VLP, VLR, MWI.

Support and performs process qualification & validation by utilizing IQ / OQ / PQ methodology under senior stuff supervision.

Requirements

Required Qualifications : Typically requires a B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or equivalent.

1+ year’s related process engineering related experience is preferred.

Familiar with Bulk reagent formulations

Familiar with cGMP regulations.

Title : Process Engineering Technician

Compensation : $37 / hr-$40 / hr

Location : Carlsbad, CA

Type : 12 month role
