Maintenance Technician

Job Full Description

We are recruiting for a machine maintenance person for a 1st shift role for a company downtown Winston-Salem. The hours are Mon-Fri 7a-4pm, and pay is around $20-22/hr.

* Ability to repair breakdowns in a timely manner, using mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, fluid handling, and electrical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot machine issues.
* Performing routine and scheduled maintenance of equipment and machinery.
* Diagnosing issues, repairing faults, and ensuring timely solutions to urgent problems.
* Maintaining accurate records of maintenance performed, parts inventory, and orders.
* Working closely with production and quality control teams to address maintenance needs, prioritize tasks, and enhance overall equipment performance.
* At least 3-5 years of experience in industrial machine maintenance, with familiarity working on machinery, facilities, and following lean manufacturing principles.
* Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, analytical thinking, adaptability to fast-paced production environments, and leadership qualities to guide maintenance activities.
* Understanding of safety regulations, equipment compliance standards, knowledge of OSHA requirements, company policies and awareness of industry best practices in machine maintenance
