Bridge Engineer

Multi-statedesign firm is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineerfor their team in Colorado Springs!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-level project design
  
• Review project documents and design quality for complex projects
  
• Provide technical guidance to team members to solve complex problems
  
• Perform QA/QC and ensure completed designs meet quality standards
  
• Scope and complexity research
  
• Lead staff on design approach
  
• Develop standards and/or guidelines for engineering activities
  
• Mentor/train junior staff
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  
• Master’s degree, or in pursuit, preferred
  
• 6+ years of relevant engineering experience
  
• Professional Engineer (PE)
  
• Experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design
  
• Experience with bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA, LEAP Bridge Expertise, Lpile, SPColumn, or MDX)
  
• Expertise with DOT bridge projects
  
• Knowledge of MicroStation software
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
